No School Tomorrow
Just a reminder there is no school tomorrow. Enjoy the long weekend.

Online Assembly
Our online assembly was on today. Many thanks to those who tuned in. Next week we will be back to Friday @2.20

Footy Colours Day
Today was footy colours day! There was lots of support for Geelong & Richmond.
For those of us whose team is out I hope it’s a great game.

School Advisory Council Meeting
Our next meeting is next Tuesday @7.30 online. An invite will be sent to the SAC members on Monday.

Second Hand Store
Our second hand store doesn’t have too much in the way of summer clothes in it at the moment, especially for girls. I know many parents use the St Patrick’s second hand app, however if you have some clothing you would like to donate to help others then they would be appreciated.

No School for students
There will be no school for students on Monday 2nd for our school board holiday & Tuesday 3rd of November, for our Melbourne Cup holiday. Please make sure you have these in your diaries.

Foundation Interviews
Next week we are doing our foundation interviews with the 32 Foundation children enrolled for 2021.This is always a great couple of days and this year with our being unable to do our usual transition it will be extra special.

Our production:
At this stage we have set week 7, the 16th—20th of November to do this. We will be videoing the students doing their dance or singing their songs (leads) in front of a green screen and then we will put a background onto it. Children will still dress up in a costume and hopefully enjoy the experience.. We will then produce a DVD which we will make available to parents.

Sports activities:
We are hoping to have our athletics in week 6 now due to the shorter week in week 5, November 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th. Again this will be a parent free event and the children will compete here at school during this week. We will look at some live streaming of some events. More info as we work through it.

Winter Sport
We have organized a Winter Sport afternoon against St Thomas’ for our grade 5/6 students on Friday November 6th looking at Football, netball, soccer, T-Ball. Grade 6 children will get first preference in the game they want to play. More details will come home next week as we get this organized.

Spelling Championships are on next Friday
Congratulations to the following students who have made the final.
Layla Blomfield, Albie Cheeseman, Amarli Lawlor, Harry Wood, Luis Maskell, Jock Dean, Meg Lafferty, Elsie Sinnott, Victoria Buckle, Bella Jenkins, Kayla Loving & Fred Dean
